It's been a rough season for some Express alumni in the NHL.
Last week Milan Lucic went down with a high ankle sprain suffered vs. the Minnesota Wild. That injury came shortly after Lucic returned to the Bruins lineup after suffering a fractured finger and missing 14 games.
Lucic is expected to miss at least 4 weeks.
Meanwhile the news for David Jones is worse, he expected to miss the next 4 to 6 months after suffering a torn ACL Saturday vs. Minnesota.
The former Express captain was having a breakout season, his 3rd with the Avalanche. He had 10 goals (2nd on the Avs behind Milan Hejduk) and 16 points in 23 games.
