MACKIN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Coquitlam Express forward Cory Mackin has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 9, the league announced Monday.
Mackin racked up six goals, including his third hat trick of the season, and four assists and led the Express to three wins. The Philadelphia native opened with two goals and a helper n a 5-4 win over Salmon Arm, upped the ante to a hat trick in a 6-3 victory over Surrey and concluded with goal and three helpers in a 10-5 triumph against Surrey.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound Ferris State University recruit was named 2nd Star in each contest and took over the BCHL scoring lead with his offensive flurry.
