Coquitlam Express captain Ryan Rosenthal has committed to Northeastern University for the fall of 2014.
The Montvale New Jersey native is currently tied for the team lead in goals with 15 and is 2nd in team scoring with 29 points this season. His 3 shorthanded goals are currently tied for the BCHL lead with Surrey's Nic Pierog. He was the BCHL player of the week for the week ending October 6th following a 9 point (3G, 6A) weekend in 3 games.
Rosenthal came to the Express this season after attending the University of Vermont last season where he dressed for 6 games registering 2 points.
This is the second scholarship secured for an Express player this season after forward Cody Boyd committed to Army recently.
The Express now have 6 players on their roster with NCAA commitments.
