The Great Neck New York native is in his first season with the Express. He currently leads the team with 22 goals and 38 points in 42 games. Linell took a little while to find his game at the BCHL level with just 1 assist in his first 7 games. But since then he has 22 goals and 37 points in his last 35 games.
Linell's 22 goals this season currently rank him 5th in the BCHL. He's in a cluster of players with 4 game winning goals that is the 3rd highest total in the BCHL. Two of his game winning goals have come in overtime.
During the week of November 27th to December 3rd he scored 5 consecutive goals for the Express in three games and was named the BCHL's player of the week.
