Express rookie Garrick Perry has been named the BCHL player of the week.
The Apple Valley Minnesota native scored twice including the double overtime winner in the Express 4-3 win over division leading Powell River. Perry also added an assist Friday night. He followed that perfomance up by chipping in with 2 assists on Sunday as he helped the Express erase a 4-1 second period deficit in Cowichan Valley in Burnaby's 5-4 double overtime win over Cowichan Valley.
He finished the weekend with 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points.
