MACKIN PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Coquitlam Express forward Cory Mackin has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 9, the league announced Monday. Mackin racked up six goals, including his third hat trick of the season, and four assists and led the Express to three wins. The Philadelphia native opened with two goals and a helper n a 5-4 win over Salmon Arm, upped the ante to a hat trick in a 6-3 victory over Surrey and concluded with goal and three helpers in a 10-5 triumph against Surrey. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound Ferris State University recruit was named 2nd Star in each contest and took over the BCHL scoring lead with his offensive flurry. BO PIEPER BCHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Coquitlam Express forward Bo Pieper has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 13, the league announced Monday.

Pieper exploded for four huge goals, including the game-winner, in Game 1 of the Fred Page Cup Finals. Pieper's offence helped the Express rally from a three-goal deficit to win the game 6-4.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound native of Roseville, Minn. was named the game's 1st Star. He now has 10 goals and five assists for the Express in 17 playoff games.

ROSENTHAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Coquitlam Express forward and captain Ryan Rosenthal has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 6, the league announced Monday.

Rosenthal led the Express to a pair of wins over the Victoria Grizzlies in the round-robin semifinals that put Coquitlam into the Fred Page Cup Finals.

A native of Montvale, N.J., Rosenthal notched three goals and two assists in the pair of wins. He scored his team's first and third goals in a 6-3 home win on Tuesday and forced overtime Thursday on the road when he scored in the final minute of regulation.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound forward was named 1st Star and FortisBC Energy Player of the Game in the win at home.
