The Coquitlam Express Junior A Hockey Team of the BCHL are proud to announce Senior Alternate Captain Nicolas Beaudin will be suiting up for the Express this up coming season.

After two years at Stanstead College, the 18 year old is thrilled to be heading to Coquitlam in this exciting new opportunity. Beaudin finished the past season with 31 goals and 33 assists for a total of 64 points in 61 games, receiving the Dawes Trophy as the team's Most Valuable player. He is presently ranked 167th on the final NHL draft list for the up coming June NHL entry draft.

Express Coach Barry Wolff: "we are very excited to add a player like Nicolas Beaudin to our line up. Nicolas is a great player that has strong character and work ethic coming from a great program like Stanstead College, where he received quality coaching from Coach James Rioux and his staff. We know that he will be ready to compete at the BCHL level."

Coach Rioux had this to say about the senior winger: "Nicolas is an excellent two-way hockey player with strong hockey IQ and skill. He has been a consistent player for us the past two seasons and we wish him the very best with his new team."

On behalf of the Coquitlam Express we welcome Nicolas to the Express team and thank Coach Rioux for all his help in this process.
