LUCIC TRADED TO KINGS
In return the Bruins received LA's first round pick the 13th selection that the Bruins used to draft Jakob Zboril, goaltender Martin Jones and defenseman Colin Miller. As part of the deal the Bruins will retain $2.7 million of Lucic's $6 million dollar salary.
Lucic began his junior career with the Express during the 2004-05 season. He dressed for 50 games that season scoring 9 goals and 14 assists for 23 points while adding 100 PIM's.
He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2nd round 50th overall by the Boston Bruins in 2006. In 566 NHL games all with the Bruins he has 139 goals and 203 points for 342 points. He won a Stanley Cup in 2011 with the Bruins defeating his hometown Vancouver Canucks.
During the Express 2014 run to the Western Canada Cup he took the time to record this special greeting for his former junior team.

INSIDE THE HOME OF DAVID JONES
Brett Hemingway was drafted in the 7th round and his teammate David Jones was selected in the 9th round. Both by the Colorado Avalanche.
Jones has carved out a nice career for himself. Now with the Calgary Flames. Here's a look at his home in Calgary with some of his Express momentos on display.

BRAD APARTMENT "HUNTING" IN OIL COUNTRY
Former Express (06-08) captain Brad Hunt has done nothing but impress the Edmonton Oiler brass during training camp. So much so Oilers head coach Dallas Eakins has had a really tough time to keep his very high praise a little subdued and subtle.
Sunday after the Oilers final cuts following their game Saturday night in Vancouver Hunt learned he will be starting the season in Edmonton.
His ability to work the power play has been one of the main areas that has caught the attention of Dallas Eakins.
Hunt made his NHL debut last season playing three games last season in Edmonton in January. He spent the majority of the season last year with the Oilers AHL affiliate in Oklahoma City where he had a fantastic season. He was 5th among AHL defenceman with 50 points while finding the back of the net 11 times. He was recognized at the end of the season by being named a second team all star.
Edmonton will open their season Thursday at home to Calgary.

LUCIC TO PLAY FOR CUP... AGAIN.
For the second time in three seasons former Express Milan Lucic will play for the Stanley Cup.
His Boston Bruins advanced to the Stanley Cup final following a 1-0 win in game four of the Eastern Conference final which completed a 4 game sweep over the top seeded Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Bruins will play either the Chicago Blackhawks or Los Angeles Kings in the Stanley Cup final. The Hawks currently lead the defending cup champs 3-1 in the Western Conference final.
Lucic a Vancouver native won his first Stanley Cup in 2011 when the Bruins defeated his home town Vancouver Canucks in 7 games lifiting hockeys holy grail on Vancouver ice.
Lucic played 50 games for the Express during the 2004-05 season registering 23 points.
In the 2013 playoffs Lucic has 3 goals and 10 assists in 16 games.
If the Bruins win the cup, it will be a 4th Stanley Cup won by an Express alumni. Winnipeg Jets captain Andrew Ladd has two cup rings with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006 and Chicago Blackhawks in 2010.
